The past two weeks have been busy with a variety of events, including Mental Health Week, Year 3 swimming, our first Prep Transition Session, Year 1 excursion, Dance Concert, Crazy Sock Day, and the school disco, just to name a few. These activities are a true testament to the energy and spirit that make St. Francis Xavier School so special. Thank you to all who played a part in organising these events. Without the generosity of our community giving their time, these events would not happen.
Looking ahead, the school calendar remains full of exciting events. I encourage all parents to stay informed by regularly reading our fortnightly newsletter and checking Facebook to keep up with what’s happening.
Attending advertised school events is a great way to be involved in your child’s education. Another great way to support your child is to become armed with information to guide them in a number of situations. The Triple P Parenting website has a number of short, easy-read articles and courses for parents on a number of topics including; supporting emotional wellbeing, strategies for making family life less stressful and setting good habits to prevent problems getting worse. The best news is, they are all free! Check out the website for more information (www.triplep-parenting.net.au/au/triple-p/).
