Who can enrol
There are many misconceptions around who can enrol in a Catholic school. Like all Catholic schools, St Francis Xavier’s does not have geographical catchment restrictions and you or your child do not have to be Catholic.
As a Catholic school, we recognise and value the uniqueness and individuality of students and families, and the human dignity of each person. We are welcoming to all and serve the needs of families who will benefit from our service. This includes those from culturally diverse backgrounds including Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, those who seek to deepen their faith in a Catholic context, those from backgrounds of marginalisation and disadvantage including the economically and spiritually poor, and those with a disability.

When to apply
Although our enrolment period is generally early in the year preceding enrolment, applications for enrolment are welcome at any time.
Applications for Prep are accepted up to two years prior to starting. Prep interviews are conducted in Terms 1 and 2 of the year preceding enrolment; however, applications will be considered later if there are available spaces, or waitlisted. Confirmation of enrolments are made soon after the Prep interviews.
How to apply
A quick, easy and convenient way to apply is by completing our online application form at the link below.
You can return to your online application form before submitting, at any time within 30 days of starting, without having to restart your application. If applying to enrol more than one student, or to more than one school/college, these options will be available before the process is complete and the form submitted.
Our Enrolments Officer will contact you once the application has been submitted.
Should you have any difficulty completing the online Application for Enrolment, please contact the Enrolments Officer on (07) 4037 9900 or email email@example.com for assistance.

A non-refundable application fee of $50 per child applies.
|Step 2||Provide copies of required documents
(as listed on the Parent Checklist) and pay the application fee/s. Document copies that may be required to accompany the application include:
|Step 3||An interview is arranged
Our School Office will contact you to arrange an enrolment interview with the Principal or Assistant Principal. Students and parents are required to attend the interview. You will be taken on a tour of the school’s facilities and shown what St Francis Xavier’s School has to offer.
|Step 4||Being Offered and Accepting a place
Successful applicants will be offered an enrolment position and unsuccessful applicants advised. Parents accept the offer by completing a ‘Confirmation of Enrolment Form’.
Once an interview has occurred, a position offered, and a Confirmation of Enrolment completed including all documentation required, a student is then considered enrolled.
All new Families are required to pay a $100 Enrolment deposit per child within four weeks of the enrolment acceptance to ensure that a place is held for their child/children for the following year. This Enrolment deposit is deducted from first term fees.
