‘Never see a need without doing something about it!’
Mary MacKillop
St Francis Xavier’s School was founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph in 1961. The school continues the traditions and charisms of the Sisters of St Joseph and celebrates the major feast days of Mary MacKillop, St Joseph and St Francis Xavier. For more information about our patron Saint Mary MacKillop visit www.marymackillopplace.org.au.
In the footsteps of the Josephite Sisters, our school continues to work for Social Justice. There are many local programs which we support and these include Caritas Australia, St Vincent de Paul, Rosie’s, Leukaemia Foundation, National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence, Cancer Council Foundation, Mary MacKillop Foundation, Catholic Mission, Rosies, YAPS & RSPCA and Day for Daniel.
